This is progress

I guess I'm a bit slow... bombings in Baghdad accounted for 35 dead children. Coordinated attacks, clearly. Debate on the President's choices rages wildly. And now there's musings the Administration wants only good news to come out of Iraq. In his most recent radio address, the President said
We're making steady progress in implementing our five-step plan toward the goal we all want: completing the mission so that Iraq is stable and self-governing, and American troops can come home with the honor they have earned.
Thirty-five dead kids is steady progress?

  1. I know what you mean, friend. Sometimes it seams like we're treading in quicksand. You were kind enough to read my junk so I thought I'd return the favor. You do very good stuff (quite cerebral, I must say). Keep up the good work!
