A good deed by Sue Ann Cass., Wooster, Ohio -- After I had voted, I was driving home and I passed an elderly man who was walking on the side of the road. He stumbled and fell and I pulled over to help him. In his determination to vote, he was walking over 1 mile, on a busy road that had no sidewalk, to his poll. After we bandaged his cut hand, he recieved a ride from another stranger on her way to the same poll. None of the three of us spoke of who we were voting for - these will be memorable images in my mind, excercising our freedom, thankful for the opportunities in this country that we abundantly have.
