Coasties from Norfolk providing support to Coasties

From the local TV channel, WAVY-TV:
Coast Guard rescue swimmers, pilots and boat crews continue to searching the flood waters and rubble for survivors from Hurricane Katrina.

Their support -- like water, food, showers, fuel and advice -- is coming from Norfolk.

More than 400 Coast Guard personnel assigned to the Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic are working around the clock to coordinate and assist the two-thousand Coast Guard members deployed to the Gulf Coast, where crews have made 33-thousand rescues by helicopter and boat.
