Love 'em or Hate 'em

Either way, we all need to admit that Wal-Mart has changed retail shopping in America, and is on the way to changing it around the world, too. I'm not going to get into morass here, but rather point out something interesting I stumbled across in the New York Times.

Wal-Mart wants to go into banking.

No longer are they taking on the mom and pop stores, the small town hardware and clothing stores. Now, they're out to take on Citibank and Bank of America. And the traditional banks are running scared... and right so, since they know they've been sticking it to us consumers and the Bank of Wal-Mart will drive down banking costs and increase services.

I say, "bring it on, bring it on."
