If you really want to control the content of your aggregator, and I recommend it, then create your own; don't rely on anyone else's for the full story. Try Bloglines; anyone, even a political blogger, can use it. You'll find that you can add feeds with ease, particularly if you use the Firefox 2 browser with the built-in add-feeds button in the URL window.
And, if you can build a better mousetrap, stop talking about it, and build it.
