The Army uses flickr!

Originally uploaded by soldiersmediacenter.
This was posted yesterday on SoldiersMediaCenter's flickr photostream. The U.S. Army is using flickr.

The tagline for this pic:
U.S. Army Soldiers from the 915th Medical Detachment (Forward Support Team), Vancouver, Wash., move an injured U.S. Air Force Airman from the 142nd Security Forces Squadron to a Coast Guard helicopter during a training exercise on Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Ore., June 7, 2007. DoD photo by Senior Airman John Hughel Jr., U.S. Air Force
When will the Coast Guard embrace tools like this?

In the mean time, I guess we can pay the Army to put pictures of our aircraft in their photostream. Can we get'em to put pictures of boats and cutters, too?

  1. As you, and I, noted a few month back, the CG was looking at, and in fact uses YouTube as a media outlet- only we at work can't go and look at if from work. Weird, but it's a start.
