A case of "be careful what you ask for"

When I saw this article in my news feed, I knew it was a case of "be careful what you ask for." In this case, what the town officials asked for was no strip club. Turns out, they'll not get a strip club. But...
After his plans to reopen his strip club were nixed by city council, Cambridge businessman Len Black says he'll open as a swingers club within two weeks.

Black's plan to transform the would-be strip club into a swingers club - a meeting ground for partner swapping - has left officials in this southwestern Ontario city scrambling.
That's right; instead of half-clad women wrapping themselves around brass poles, the Canadian city of Cambridge will have a place where anyone can go to hook up and be guaranteed of success. Seems swingers' clubs don't fall under adult entertainment guidelines, at least in Canada.

Noted the article, "Swingers clubs are legal, according to a 2005 Supreme Court of Canada ruling, because the activity is between consenting adults."

I'm thinking they might have been better off taking the strip club.
