Death by IED touches Virginia Beach

Navy Seal

On Friday, three Virginia Beach sailors were killed during operations in Baghdad. Louis Hansen from the Virginian-Pilot writes,
Petty Officer 1st Class Jason Lewis, a SEAL based at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, and fellow first class petty officers Robert McRill and Steven Daugherty were killed when an improvised bomb detonated near their Humvee, the Navy said Saturday.
I wonder if Petty Officer Lewis was one of the SEALs loaded to go hunting back in 2005.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families and "shipmates" of Jason Lewis, Robert McRill, and Steven Daugherty. May we remember their sacrifices and devotion to duty.
