As we are reminded, daily it seems, racism is not dead here in the United States. And, sadly, it crosses color boundaries. In the case of the tree, it was whites against blacks. In other cases, it's blacks against whites. And, just as disturbing, it's not a white/black issue.
Whatever happened to Dr. King's dream for his children and my children or Mr. King's plaintive question of "Why can't we all just get along?"
